Unusual route from Cape Town to the Victoria waterfall was chosen as a direction for the unique incentive trip for the employees of the pharmaceutical company. The journey was based on two famous literary personages: Gerald Darrell, with his infinite love for animals and, Phileas Fogg, who never was afraid to change the vehicles during the trip. Thanks to this combination a fundamentally new type of recreation, full of vivid emotions and unexpected impressions was opened for the guests.
The trip started in Cape Town, which is shining on the south of the African continent, and continue with fascinating journey to the Cape along the Atlantic coast on the famous Victoria Road. Then Boat cruise from the quiet harbor of Hout Bay to the island of seals. These cute creations love to bask in the sun lying on granite stones, which protruding above the surface of the sea. Photo with a cute seal should be in the collection of each traveler.
Following the rule «To change vehicles», we went on a winding mountain road along the Atlantic Ocean to the Cape of Good Hope. The main direction of this part of trip was lighthouse, in the southernmost point of the Cape Peninsula, from where guests you can see the amazing place of mixing the warm and cold currents of the two oceans - the Indian and Atlantic. To get there you can use one of two ways- on a funicular railway or on foot.
Then our guests went to the charming English town – Samostain, through the Ostrich farm, where they not only got acquainted with these amazing birds, but the bravest one even ride an ostrich.
Having reached the destination, guests visited the famous Bolder beach, where African penguins live.
An obligatory component of such an unusual trip was safari in the Chobe National Park (Botswana) - one of the best parks in terms of diversity and concentration of wild animals in the country.
Founded in 1968, National Park covers about 11,700 square kilometers. This park is famous for large herds of elephants and buffaloes, which come to the watering place in the dry winter months. Near the river you can also see lechwes, giraffes, greater kudus, impalas, warthogs, baboons and next to them predators - lions, leopards, hyenas and jackals
This part of the trip also wasn’t ordinary. Safari was organized in two stages. The first one in the boats on the Zambezi River. It was an opportunity to relax and watch animals in one of the most picturesque corners of the world at the crossing of the borders of four countries: Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia. Then, for the photographs lovers, classical safari by cars across the territory of the Victoria Falls was organized.
